Maha is a seasoned banker with more than 27 years of experience in banking and finance industry in Palestine, holding an MBA in finance and sustainability from the University of Cumbria, UK. She is also a Qualified Corporate Director by the Jordan Institute of Directors (JIoD) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and a Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) certified Sustainability Professional, who thrives to spread awareness on sustainability, sustainable finance and Impact investing among organizations. She believes that collaboration and partnerships help organizations in the transition to create long term value and impact on economy, society and environment.

Maha’s areas of expertise include but not limited to Banking and Finance Management (Corporate, SME’s and Retail), and Trade Finance. In her last role, Maha was a Branch Manager for Bank of Palestine Al-Bireh Branch, and before that she was managing Jordan Ahli Bank, Ramallah branch. Prior to joining Jordan Ahli Bank, Maha was part of the regional management team at Bank of Jordan, heading their central Trade Finance department in Palestine.
